Angel Intervention Services Achieves the Joint Commission Accreditation.
Angel Intervention Services today announced it has earned Behavioral Health Care Accreditation from The Joint Commission. The certification demonstrates Angel Intervention Service’s commitment to the integration and coordination of behavioral health care services, intervention and case management services through a rigorous process of external validation by recognized experts in the field.
Angel Intervention Services has demonstrated its ability to provide services that address behavioral health needs of the whole person, which can improve overall satisfaction with the care experience.
Angel Intervention Services underwent a rigorous onsite survey on August 29, 2017. During the review, a Joint Commission expert surveyor evaluated compliance with a set of standards that focus on the integration and coordination of person-centered health care in order to improve the quality of life for individuals with substance abuse disorders or other behavioral health conditions.

It is a mark of distinction that shows we are operating within an established framework to better meet the needs of the people we serve.
Launched in January 2014, the certification is available to organizations accredited under The Joint Commission’s Behavioral Health Care Accreditation Program and is awarded for a three-year cycle. Organizations may achieve the certification by providing primary behavioral health services directly or by coordinating care with physical and mental health care providers.
